Payroll Framework

The options within Payroll Framework are essentially the 'building blocks' of your Company's setup within HR3pay.

Each of the menu items listed here will link to the relevant topic located in the associated area.

Menu Item Description
Pay Items Pay items are a core building block of the system and are used to process any monetary items in the payroll
Templates Templates are used to define a set of pay items and rates common to a group of employees.
Cost Centres A cost centre is part of the costing structure in HR3pay.
Departments A department can be a physical location or a workplace grouping, but it is the base costing level within HR3pay.
Superannuation Funds The Superannuation fund file stores any funds to which contributions are made.
Workplaces Workplaces are an optional component of the HR3pay framework, used to calculate workcover liability premiums.
Employment Conditions These are used to control rates of accrual for various leave types, as defined by the governing award.
States A state is the highest level of the costing structure in payroll.
Pay Points Pay points provide a method of grouping employees into physical locations.
Work Patterns This allows you to define your organisation's different work patterns, i.e. hours and days worked over a repeating series of weeks.
Pay Period Cycle Sets This allows you to define the pay periods for multiple groups of employees.
Security Groups This advanced security setting allows you to configure security settings for groups of employees.
Validation Tables These are used to store and maintain items which are used throughout the system, such as BSB codes, countries, and address types, etc.
